I’m launching my very own brand of music 100% independently… just because!

Let me begin with everybody who knows me, even a bit, and that are well aware that i simply love to go under the radar, work-wise… bit odd that is when you do music, not niche music, but totally mainstream 80s English pop, i call it ‘the 80s reboot’ and do visuals that many would suggest is really making a fool out of myself. Well i did add #DESKO, my own reboot of Disco, also, the music that i grew up with as a a very young teenager. I would still take Daddy Cool over Led Zeppelin every day, not that I don’t like Led Zep, they are fabulous, but who can compete with Boney M? Sorry?

I’m also a bit un-realistic, see, I’m not in this world to write, or help writing songs, for, albeit talented twenty somethings, many a committee of songwriters are great at that. No, I want to do my music, my ‘art’ that is, as I hear it. I need the sound that I got in me, my gut-feeling, and yes I’m 100% that, to be felt in everything that I do. I have written for many others since forever, tons of fun, I have even been a de-facto manager, giving someone with great talent all I could give that is me, only to see it vanish out of my control! total waste of time that was, so I’m not going down that route ever again obviously. I have seen it all, so much fun it has been, I got my ‘memoirs’ all ready, but hey, I couldn’t care less really, what is exciting is whats going to happen next.

Everybody goes, where can we find you? Spotify, youYube? Not really, maybe bits, but no! because I got a plan. Having spend my life, doing what I love the most, making music, I had to do go about it my way. So, I created bySaabye, that was the easy part, My name is Saabye, from my beloved, sadly missed mother, and it happens that nobody outside the Nordics can pronouns it! But, hey! if Jean Paul Gautier and Yves Saint Laurent could albeit in fashion, guess I, in my little ways, could do also. Any way, Saabye, is pronounced

‘So Be’, pretty much how I go about things really, just add ‘it’… So Be It!

Sure, I’m not going down the Spotify route, not that they don’t pay, they actually paid out 11 billion dollars only last year to right owners, but that that is really only their friends… certainly not me… Last year I did a test, using a Stockholm distributer, they all hang out together so I felt there could be a connection there… and put 9 of my at that moment best songs out, and did all they said you should do as an independent artist, sharing on socials, applying to playlists, do shorts, reels, video clips… After a year, yes thats 365 days!… I had earned… wait! 1.80 USD, thats on 10 songs! … Am I really that bad? In 2025 my problem is no longer only the radios, the old gate keepers, that only help their friends, Danmarks Radio are hearing me? but the Uber annoying algorithms run by big tech. I did programming as real young, super fun is was, but I also know how easy algorithms is to change , and FB, Instagram and tikTok are very good at that, change things, when they can. Fair enough, thats what they do… but not what I do.

So, welcome to my world, my, with a capital A… Art-Pop universe… 70s Disco, 80s British Pop music, all done by someone I know super well, he’s name is… Me! Nobody is involved in anything of what you hear and see, its me at 100! and that also goes for our new ‘friend’ AI. He’s not invited to the party obviously. Nothing in the music, the visuals, the narrative have any AI in there. You’ll know, because I’m happy to leave (all) my mistakes in there, and I’m actually real proud of that.

There’s also a youTube channel, think there are well over 100 music videos now, I’m launching my ‘I want my MTV back’ shows soon. There’s also an online store to download super cheap, we talk 1 EUR for a downloadable album or songbooks.

This is for now my favourite way of doing things, to stay under the radar, to stay independent, to stay me!
